PH00625: CPSM ASRA IN EYU0XSRR AFTER APPLYING PTF FOR PI91378

Error description

• You have the CPSM PTF applied for APAR PI91378, and find that
  you receive SVC dumps for an ASRA in CPSM method XSRR. That
  method is the Resource Release Method Receiver. CPSM will write
  a EYUXL0905E message that includes a PSW address. In an SVC
  dump however, that puts it in IEAVBWGL, a console services
  module from MVS.

  The BEAR address puts us in EYUTXEPC which is a location in
  XEPC that would be making a branch to do an MVS WTO.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ASRA abend may occur in method EYU0XSRR *
  *                      when a MAS region is cancelled or       *
  *                      terminated via CEMT PERFORM SHUTDOWN    *
  *                      IMMEDIATE command, after applying the   *
  *                      following PTFs:                         *
  *                                                              *
  *                      - V5R3M0, APAR PI91378, PTF UI54190     *
  *                      - V5R4M0, APAR PI91378, PTF UI54189     *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves APAR    *
  *                 PH00625, the CPSM ESSS (Environment Service  *
  *                 System Services) subsystem address space     *
  *                 (EYUXvrm, where for example, vrm=530 for     *
  *                 CPSM V5R3M0 etc.) must be terminated on      *
  *                 every MVS image where a CMAS has executed    *
  *                 since the last IPL.                          *
  *                                                              *
  *                 This can be accomplished in either of two    *
  *                 ways:                                        *
  *                                                              *
  *                   1 - Ensure that module EYU9Xvrm in the     *
  *                       linklist concatenation is replaced by  *
  *                       the updated version from SEYULINK.     *
  *                                                              *
  *                     - IPL the MVS Image.                     *
  *                                                              *
  *                 Or:                                          *
  *                                                              *
  *                   2 - Stop all CMASes, MASes (including WUI  *
  *                       servers) and CPSM batch API programs   *
  *                       on an MVS image.                       *
  *                                                              *
  *                     - Use EYU9XENF to check that no address  *
  *                       spaces are connected to the ESSS       *
  *                       subsystem.                             *
  *                                                              *
  *                     - Use the EYU9XEUT TERMINATE function to *
  *                       stop the ESSS.                         *
  *                                                              *
  *                     - Ensure that module EYU9Xvrm in the     *
  *                       linklist concatenation is replaced by  *
  *                       the updated version from SEYULINK.     *
  *                                                              *
  *                     - Refresh LLA to ensure the updated      *
  *                       versions of the linklist modules are   *
  *                       picked up.                             *
  *                                                              *
  *                 Restart any CMASes, MASes (including WUI     *
  *                 servers) and CPSM batch API programs which   *
  *                 execute on the MVS image, insuring that the  *
  *                 updated libraries are being picked up.  When *
  *                 the first CMAS is started the EYUXvrm        *
  *                 address space will be started automatically. *

  When a CPSM CMAS or MAS, including a WUI server, is cancelled
  while the QR TCB is in CPSM PC routine code, an abend S0C4 may
  occur in WTO processing code issued from the PC routine FRR
  code.
  
  Note that this may result in the CICS region not shutting down
  for the cancel request.
