Error description

  • The LIBRARYDSN field on an INQUIRE PROGRAM displays
as zeros for some programs.

This problem can occur for programs defined with the attribute
PROGRAM_USAGE(NUCLEUS).  For these types of programs the
LIBRARYDSN field does not get populated.  Changes made by
PI84925 caused this problem to occur.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: INQUIRE PROGRAM commands return empty   *
*                      LIBRARYDSN for CICS nucleus modules.    *
****************************************************************
When INQUIRE PROGRAM is issued, the LIBRARYDSN
attribute can be returned empty or blanks.
CICS returns information held in the APE_DSN field of an active
( loaded ) program. After PI84925, APE_DSN is no longer
populated for CICS nucleus modules such as DFHECDF.

Problem conclusion

  • UI51096 UI51097
DFHLDCOM has been changed so that APE_DSN is populated for
both application and nucleus programs.
