    that completed normally, but FAILED_LINK contains residual
    data:
    .
    RM FA12 RMUO   EXIT  - FUNCTION(COMMIT_UOW) RESPONSE(OK)
                           FAILED_LINK(C1C3C1C3)

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Potentially misleading data in RM FA12 *
    *                      trace entries                           *
    ****************************************************************
    In the CICS Trace we may see RM FA12 trace entries containing
    residual data.
    The RM FA12 trace entry always includes a FAILED_LINK field.
    This field is only updated if we actually experience a
    failed link. If no failed link is present, we do not fall though
    code to update this field.
    Because of this the data in the failed link field could be
    residual and misleading.

Problem conclusion

  • Module DFHRMUO has been changed to initalise the the
    RMUO_FAILED_LINK field.
