Error description

  • Customer is encountering a DFHPC0402. Prior to the DFHPC0402
message we see DFHAP0001 messages reporting abend0C1 at offset
    X'FFFFFFFF' in DFHEIQSK.
    .
DFHAP0001 An abend (code 0C1/AKEA) has occurred at offset
    X'FFFFFFFF' in module DFHEIQSK.
    .
This matches the symptoms of PH03569.
    .
At this point it was determined the problem was with DFHEIQSK.
The customer's system showed a length of X'5148' and on our
system the program length was X'51B8'. We were able to determine
the difference was DSNCLI was not included in the customer's
version. After reviewing the SMPE APPLY the following message
    was being issue:
    .
GIM62701W THE ++DELETE MCS FOR LMOD ENTRY DFHEIQSK IN SYSMOD
UI59008 WAS NOT PROCESSED BECAUSE THE SYSLIB VALUE DOES NOT
    MATCH THE EXISTING SYSLIB VALUE.
    .
So at the UI59008 level of DFHEIQSK it does not contain DSNCLI
which is cauing the S0C1 to occur.
    .
    ADDITIONAL KEYWORDS:
    GIM62701 GIM62701W 5148 51B8 DFHAP0001 S0C1 DFHPC0402

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The APPLY of the PTF for APAR PH03569 *
    * may finish with a return code 4. This *
    *                      leads to a subsequent abend 0C1 in      *
    *                      DFHEIQSK.                               *
    ****************************************************************
The APPLY of the PTF for APAR PH03569 may finish with a return
code 4 and IEW2454W 9203 SYMBOL DSNWLI UNRESOLVED. NO AUTOCALL
    (NCAL) SPECIFIED.
PH03569 included a ++DELETE for DFHEIQSK with a SYSLIB of
SDFHLOAD. However DFHUMOD had been run which moved DFHEIQSK from
SDFHLOAD to SDFHLPA and so the APPLY failed to find DFHEIQSK in
    SDFHLOAD.

Problem conclusion

  • UI59007 UI59008 UI59009
A ++DELETE has been added for DFHEIQSK specifying SYSLIB(ALL).
DFHEIQSK has also been re-shipped to enable it to be re-linked.
