CICS TS has been updated to use a Liberty JVM server that is based on WebSphere Liberty version 19.0.0.12. CICS Liberty is now compatible with the Jakarta EE 8 Platform. The jakartaee-8.0 feature combines the Liberty features that support Jakarta EE 8.
