APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • It is generated a requester web service binding and language
structures with DFHWS2LS. The WSDL contains abstract data
types and PDSMEM is requested to have the Language structure
saved in a PDS member. The generation with DFHWS2LS runs
successful but the member is not created.
This happen only if wsdl:import is used.

Local fix

  • If all the wsdl:import statements are removed and the data are
instered in a single WSDL, then everything will work and the
PDSMEM will be created.

DFHWS2LS is used to generate language structures from WSDL.
The WSDL uses abstract type definitions which are defined
in an imported WSDL document.
However, the generator does not produce language structures
for the imported types, and the location is given as UNKNOWN
in the parent structure member.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHWS2LS has been changed to generate copybooks for abstract
types contained within imported WSDL files.

Temporary fix

  • FIX AVAILABLE BY PTF ONLY
