PI10560: DFHWB0002 A SEVERE ERROR (CODE X'0609') HAS OCCURRED IN DFHWBXM DURING SHUTDOWN PROCESS

• You are receiving the following message when the region is
  shutting down,
  
   DFHWB0002 A severe error (code X'0609') has occurred
   in module DFHWBXM.
  .
  Trace shows the following trace exception entry,

  Further diagnosis found that
  DFHWB0002 is being issued before a request to ACQUIRE an
  IPCONN from the partner region is received and during the
  WBXM_BIND_XM_CLIENT process before the DFHSOIS INQUIRE is
  done, the TCPIPService used by that IPCONN was issued with
  IMMCLOSE.
  The IMMCLOSE deleted the SOCKET which was used by the CISS
  task. Then when DFHSOIS INQUIRED returned an EXCEPTION with
  REASON code of UNKNOWN_SOCKET_TOKEN. This results in DFHWBXM
  producing DFHWB0002 message.

  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  CICS server receives a request to acquire an IPIC connection.
  Then CISS is attached. After CISS is attached, WBXM is
  called to bind client and drive DFHSOIS INQUIRE. However, before
  it calls DFHSOIS INQUIRE, CICS server receives another request
  to IMMCLOSE the tcpipservice. IMMCLOSE frees all web sessions
  including the one created for CISS. When bind client routine
  tries to do DFHSOIS INQUIRE, it gets exception
  UNKNOWN_SOCKET_TOKEN and calls error handling routine to abend
  AWC9 with message DFHWB0002 and a system dump is taken.
  The system dump is an excessive response for this error.

Problem conclusion

• DFHWBXM has been changed to no longer issue message DFHWB0002
  and take a system dump after DFHSOIS INQUIRE_CONNECTION
  or DFHSOIS INQUIRE returns an EXCEPTION.

• FIX AVAILABLE BY PTF ONLY
