APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If the CPSM WLM cache extends to two dataspaces, the potential
exists for a Workload Descriptor (EYURWRKD) and its default
TRANGRP Descriptor (EYURWTGD) to end up in separate dataspaces.
If the WLMAWORK view is then used to SET the algorithm type, an
overlay or an ASRA/S0C4 may occur.

    * that the restarts do not need to occur at *
    *                 the same time.                               *
    ****************************************************************
When a SET action is issued against the WLMAWORK default
algorithm type, WMUT loads the address of the default trangroup
descriptor (EYURWTGD) from the workload descriptor (EYURWRKD).
If the WLM data cache is extended to two dataspaces, and the
EYURWRKD and EYURWTGD are not in the same dataspace, then the
address loaded by WMUT will be invalid. If the storage pointed
to by the invalid address is allocated, an overlay will occur.
If the storage is not allocated, a S0C4 will occur in WMUT.

Problem conclusion

  • WMUT hs been updated to always load the address of the EYURWTGD
    correctly.
