    ****************************************************************
The CPSM IPCS VERBEXIT performs additional validation to find
CICS regions (CMASes or MASes) executing the desired version of
CPSM. This additional validation accesses fields in the CICS
Optional Feature List (CSAOPFL) whose offsets changed between
V670 and V680 of CICS. Module EYU0DVAD (DVAD - VERBEXIT Select
Address Space) scans address spaces in the dump, checking each
TCB in turn to find the CICS CSA. When module EYU0DVAD is not
able to validate structures addressed via the CSAOPFL it skips
to the next TCB. Because the CICS CSA address is the same, it
triggers logic to detect loops in control block chains, issuing
message EYUDV0103E for each CICS TCB after the first.
When module EYU0DVAD is unable to find a CICS region running
the desired CPSM version, it issues message EYUDV0115E and re-
    turns to its caller.

Problem conclusion

  • Modules EYU0DVAD and EYU0DVJF (DVJF - VERBEXIT Format Job
Areas) were modified to check the CICS release for the region
being processed from CSACIREL, and to load the appropriate
offset into CSAOPFL for required addresses, based on the CICS
    release.
