Error description
A browse for a table that is still loading, and the key is higher then the currently highest key in the table. DFHCFRQ is calling routine ROCHKLD and this wants to issure a different CF request to check the list and see werther the part of the key range has been loaded yet. The logiv is not reseting the request options in CROPT before this call, so the KGE option bit remains on and the call is rejected as having unsupported options specified on it because of this. Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Message DFHCF0999I TRACE DFHCFCFR * * INVALID CRREQ/CROPT on a browse request * * while a CFDT is being loaded. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** A coupling facility datatable (CFDT) is being opened by CICS and is in the process of being loaded when a browse request with gteq for the ridfld is made against it from another CICS. (The GTEQ adverb means the greater than or equal option). DFHCFRQ has to inspect the list structure to see whether any higher key has been added to the table. The call to perform this check reuses the parameter list area set up for the browse but the request options byte is not reset prior to the call. This means the KGE (key greater or equal) indicator bit is set on still, and this results in a logic error being trapped. Message DFHCF0999I is issued and abend AFCZ returned to the application browsing the table. KEYWORDS: CF0999I 0999I 0999 999I
Problem conclusion
DFHCFRQ has been modified to clear the CROPT flag byte in the request plist before making the CALLCFR INL call.
