APAR status

Error description

  • After upgrading to CICS TS 5.1 and doing a CSD upgrade there
were errors in the CHECKLIST of DFHLIST. The DFHLIST includes
the DFHJAVA and DFHPIVAL groups that contain java programs with
JVMSERVER references that are not installed as a part of the
DFHLIST:

Group DFHJAVA - program DFHSJTHP - JVMSERVER (DFHJVMXX)
Group DFHPIVAL - program DFHPIVAL  - JVMSERVER (DFH$JVMS)

CEDA CHECK LIST(DFHLIST) is performed and this returns warning
messages for DFHSJTHP (eg W JVMSERVER DFHJVMXX referenced by
PROGRAM DFHSJTHP in group DFHJAVA cannot be found) because the
JVMSERVERs are not within the list.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHAMPCH has been updated to suppress warnings for DFHSJTHP.

Temporary fix

  • FIX AVAILABLE BY PTF ONLY
