Error description

  • Enable the WS Assistants provided by CICS TS to generate WS Bind
files that work to TXSeries and CICS on VSE and CICS/400.

The CICS Transaction Gateway v9.1 supports hosting wsbind files
for use with a TxSeries. Additional capabilities are required in
the Assistants and runtime code to support data types and
alignment rules that are only relevant for TxSeries.

  • This APAR adds new data mapping capabilities to the CICS JSON
Assistants, and the associated Java data transformation runtime
code, for non-z/OS platforms. It enables support for
little-endian platforms, IEEE-754 floating point data types, and
customisable data alignment rules.
