Error description

• When running a CPSM 3.1 API program which does OPEN
  /CLOSE for CICS FILEs in a CPSM 5.1 environment,

  * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this    *
  *                 APAR, all CMASes must be recycled to pick up *
  *                 the new code.  Note that regions do not need *
  *                 to be brought down and restarted at the same *
  *                 time.                                        *
  ****************************************************************
  Module EYU0XDY2 (XDY2 - API COPY Command) is called in the CMAS
  to perform processing related to result set copy. XDY2 currently
  uses register 11 as second base register. However, this register
  is also being used for another purpose. As a result, register 11
  could be corrupted by other instructions, and the further use of
  register 11 as second base register could cause problems,
  including, but not limited to, ASRA/0C4 abends or incorrect data
  references.
  

Problem conclusion

• Method XDY2 has been updated to avoid using register 11 for
  another purpose.
