PI44166: DUMP FORMATTING ERRORS FOR EJ AND TS DOMAINS WHEN USING VERBX DFHPD680

APAR status

Error description

• You are formatting a CICS/TS 5.1 dump via IPCS with command
  'verbx dfhpd680 'ej=3' to format the Enterprise Java domain.
  This fails with the message:

  If you format the TS domain for Temporary Storage, you receive:
  ** DFHPD0128  Invalid data length 24EC specified for address
  25AED000.
  
  The dump formatter is failing for the EJ and TS domains.

  Some areas of the EJ component of CICS have been removed, but
  the IPCS DFHPD680 verb exit for EJ still tries to format them
  and fails with message DFHPD0103. An internal CICS macro call,
  DFHDUFM GET_BLOCK, was being used to process a block of TS data
  that was too large for it, resulting in message DFHPD0128 being
  produced.

Problem conclusion

• DFHPD680 has been changed to no longer try to format the removed
  areas of EJ and process smaller blocks of storage when
  formatting TS.
