  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: After applying PTF UI29745 (CPSM        *
  *                      V4R1M0) or UI29746 (CPSM V4R2M0) for    *
  *                      APAR PI36770, abend S0C4 will occur in  *
  *                      module EYU9XEEE while processing an ENF *
  *                      WLM event 41.  The abending instruction *
  *                      will be X'42F01005'.                    *

  * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this    *
  *                 APAR, the CPSM ESSS (Environment Service     *
  *                 System Services) subsystem address space     *
  *                 (EYUXvrm, where vrm=410 for CPSM V4R1M0 or   *
  *                 vrm=420 for CPSM V4R2M0) must be terminated  *
  *                 on every MVS image where a CMAS has executed *
  *                 since the last IPL.                          *
  *                                                              *
  *                 This can be accomplished in either of two    *
  *                 ways:                                        *
  *                                                              *
  *                   1 - Ensure that the following modules in   *
  *                       the linklist concatenation are         *
  *                       replaced by the updated version from   *

  *                 address space will be started automatically. *

  *                 Note that each MVS image can be updated      *
  *                 separately, and systems on an MVS image that *
  *                 are using the new code can communicate with  *
  *                 systems on other MVS images that are not yet *
  *                 using the new code.                          *

  When EYU9XEEE receives an ENF WLM event 41, it issues a CPSM PC
  routine call to inform all active CMASes on the LPAR of the
  event.  Upon return from the PC routine call, EYU9XEEE attempts
  to store the low order byte of general register 15 into the area
  pointed to by general register 1.  Since general register 1 does
  not point to a valid data area, this results in abend S0C4.
  

Problem conclusion

• EYU9XEEE has been updated to no longer store the low order byte
  of general register 15 into the area pointed to by general
  register 1.
