    ****************************************************************
When an application or CICS performance monitor issues an EXEC
CICS STARTBROWSE PROCESS request for a BTS PROCESSTYPE and
receives a response such as IOERR, the CICS exception handling
only FREEMAINs one of the two areas that were GETMAINed to
handle the request. Over a period of time, the storage leak
may result in SOS ABOVE the line due to the amount of storage
allocated to the ECDSA subpool BAGENRAL.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHBABR has been changed to ensure that all GETMAINed storage
that was allocated for processing the STARTBROWSE PROCESS is
    FREEMAINed.
