    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: DFHLG0002 x020D when opening a file in  *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    DFHFCLJ was changed by PI51396 to ensure replication log records
    were not written if the original transid had been CFC1. The
    logic in file_open and file_close was changed to make sure opens
    and closes were still written to the replication log. However,
    the do_replication LIFO variable was not initialised in the new
    codepath and so a file could be opened that did not have a
    replication log, but DFHFCLJ calls the log manager to write
    the open or close data to the logstream. Since the FCTBCTKN
    value for the log was nulls, this leads to the severe error
    DFHLG0002 with reason x020D.

Problem conclusion

  • UI33889 UI33890
    DFHFCLJ has been changed to ensure do_replication is
    initialised in the file_open and file_close procedures.
