Error description
ERROR DESCRIPTION: Message DFHCA4865's Explanation assumes a customer has SHAROPTIONS(1) defined even though it is not. In addition, the USER RESPONSE implies the problem can be resolved by coding SHAREOPTIONS(2) which is also not true. Both SHAREOPTIONS 1 and 2 only allow one writer (output) access. Message DFHCA4865 requires changes in both Explanation and User Response areas. Additional Symptom(s) Search Keyword(s): KIXREVEPH

Problem conclusion
Messages DFHCA4865 and DFHAM4865 have been changed to include both SHAREOPTIONS(1) and SHAREOPTIONS(2), and the response has been changed to remove its reference to SHAREOPTIONS(2). The CICS Transaction Server for z/OS V5.2 Messages and Codes Vol 1 (GC34-7283-00) has been changed for message DFHCA4865: Explanation CICS cannot get read access to the CSD file because another region is accessing it, and the CSD cluster is defined to VSAM with either SHAREOPTIONS(1) or SHAREOPTIONS(2). User Response Determine why a second CICS region is attempting to write to the CSD. Message DFHAM4865 will be changed: Explanation The system initialization table (SIT) used for CICS initialization contains a GRPLIST parameter. However, CICS cannot get read access to the CSD file because another region is accessing it, and the CSD cluster is defined to VSAM with either SHAREOPTIONS(1) or SHAREOPTIONS(2). User Response Determine why a second CICS region is attempting to write to the CSD.
