  • This APAR adds a new DATA-SCREENING option to the CICS Web
Services assistants.  When specified with a value of DISABLED,
CICS will tolerate bad application supplied values, and replace
such values with a default value, typically zero.  This option
must be used with care.

This APAR also fixes the following problems:

 - NullPointerException running the assistants against a
 language structure containing an OCCURS DEPENDING ON statement
 at mapping level 4.1.
 - INVALID_ZONED_DEC conversion error when using
 DATA-TRUNCATION=ENABLED and the native (non-Java) JSON parser
 (CICS TS for z/OS 5.3 only).
