Error description

  • We are running CICS TS 5.2 with Java 8 and when trying to start
an embedded Liberty zCEE server in CICS, it seems to hang
during initialization and never enabled.  We do not have this
problem when running with Java 7.

During Liberty JVM initialization with the zCEE feature,
a thread of type com.ibm.ws.http.internal.HttpEndpointImpl$2
may be started, which causes initialization to hang as it is
not correctly recognised as a Liberty internal thread type.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • com.ibm.ws.http.internal.HttpEndpointImpl$2 will now be run
using an internal Liberty thread.
