Error description
When using the CPSM WUI browser or the CICS Explorer to view the TRANDEF resource definitions, there are several missing from the results. But when I use the LOCTRAN view, I can see that these particular transactions were installed successfully in the region. Also, if I run EYU9XDBC, its output will display these resources as well. . Browsing the EYUDREP for the MP CMAS, it showed for each TRANDEF (x'0EE5') record having the problem, that the TRANDEF_CHANGETIME at x'00'contained x'0026' in the 2nd half of the first word. (Note x'10' is the TRANDEF_CREATETIME). . 0000 - CFA70026 231A7B76 0D010EE5 0000034B *.x....#....V....* 0010 - CFA70026 231A7B76 C3C9C3E2 E4E2C5D9 *.x....#.CICSUSER* 0020 - F0F6F6F0 40404040 40404040 00000000 *0660 ....* 0030 - 01000000 E3D9D5F1 40404040 00000000 *....TRN1 ....* . However, this record could also be a kernel error record where x'26' at offset x'02' is the RESTYPE for a NQQHEAD block. This only occurs when going through the API where XDQA gets called to add an entry to the result set. In routine ADDR_BYPP_DBLK, is where CPSM checks for the RESTYPE and if it is a NQQHEAD. . Note that these TRANDEF resources are returned when EYU9XDBC is run because it does not go through the API to get the results. . . . Additional Symptom(s) Search Keyword(s): KIXREVGJT

A logic error in XDQA may result in some of the requested records not being included in the result set. BATCHREP, either driven from a WUI session or through EYU9XDBC, does not use XDQA to build a result set, and will display all the requested records.
Problem conclusion
Method EYU0XDQA has been updated to include all requested records in the result set it builds when requesting CPSM definition records.
