*                      rules to CICS TS V5.1.                  *
****************************************************************
PI83667 makes the support for Policy system rules which was
introduced in CICS TS 5.4 available to all CICS TS V5 users.

During final PTF testing of the 5.1 PTFs an issue was found
during Policy install that is fixed by this APAR.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Policy system rules can be installed into CICS regions running
CICS TS 5.1.

After applying this fix any programs that consume CFE format
policy events from TS or MQ queues must be recompiled due to an
increase in the size of the MPFE record structure.

The CICS Transaction Server for z/OS 5.1 Knowledge
Center will be updated to describe the new functionality.
