Error description

  • While initializing CICS, the region suffes an S0C4/AKEA ABEND.
    Review of the dump reveals that the problem occurs when R5 is
    set to x'7FFFFFFF', which is invalid storage.
    .
    The ME Domain Anchor block appears to have been initialized to
    all x'F' values.  Message System Rules processing is invoked in
    error, as the MSG_RULE_TOKEN within the anchor block is
    non-zero.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHMEDM has been changed to initialise the field
    MSG_RULE_TOKEN in the ME Domain Anchor to X'00'.
