    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: During startup, following a system IPL, *
    *                      CICS issues abend code DC2/AKEX         *
    * at offset X'FFFF' in module DFHXSIS *
    ****************************************************************
    If two or more CICS systems are starting up simultaneously
    immediately after a system IPL, the connect to z/OS Health
    Checker process can drive an IARV64 DETACH in DFHXSSJ.
    The IARV64 call does not specify the parameter
    AFFINITY(SYSTEM) this can then lead to an AKEX abend.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHXSSJ has been modified so that the IARV64 DETACH
    contains an AFFINITY(SYSTEM) parameter.
