Error description

  • You are upgrading from CICS V42  to CICS V54, you issue STAT
command once a day for statistics report, (program DFH0STAT),
In the the Transaction Manager section:You see
the "Transaction Rate per second" value is the same as the
"accumulated transactions (since reset)"  value.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: "Transaction Rate per second" value     *
*                      incorrect when non-terminal start of    *
*                      transaction STAT.                       *
****************************************************************
The CICS supplied statistics utility transaction STAT running
program DFH0STAT will print the statistics report including
field "Transaction Rate per second". This field should show the
number of transactions per second since the last reset, but it
shows the number of tasks that have accumulated since the last
reset.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • DFH0STAT has been changed to make sure "Transaction Rate per
second" can display a correct value.
