    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Incorrect IP address in message *
    *                      DFHSO0123 after an error on             *
    * an outbound HTTPS connection. *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    If an SSL handshake error occurs on an outbound HTTPS
    connection, then message DFHSO0123 is issued to describe the
    error. A DFHSOISM INQUIRE is issued to extract the details of
    the TCPIPSERVICE and the client IP address for the message
    inserts but, for outbound sockets, no TCPIPSERVICE exists. This
    results in a bad response from the INQUIRE and the IP address is
    not stored leading to an incorrect IP address in the message.

Problem conclusion

  • Issue_message_dfhso0123 routine in DFHSOSE has been changed to
    only inquire on the TCPIPSERVICENAME if there is a valid
    STE pointer.
