    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: SIT LGDFINT parameter settings of 1 or *
    *                      2 may not be honoured.                  *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    If System Initialization parameter LGDFINT is set to a value of
    either 1 or 2 it may be treated the same as if it had been set
    to 0.
    For LGDFINT values that are less the system defined
    min_interval of 3 milliseconds, they are treated as being zero.
    As a result LG_DEFER does not suspend for the required time and
    there is no delay in the forced journal write requests.

    Additional keywords: LOGDEFER

Problem conclusion

  • DFHL2SRC has been updated so the min_interval is changed from 3
    to 1 to ensure LGDFINT values of 1 or 2 will always be honoured.
