• When applying UK03947 (and after deleting the SMPLTS) the
  following messages will result, IEW2456E and IEW2470E.

  When applying PTF UK03947 for Apar PK03330 message IEW2456E
  SYMBOL DFHRMUWH UNRESOLVED. MEMBER COULD NOT BE INCLUDED FROM
  THE DESIGNATED CALL LIBRARY can be issued. Message IEW2470E
  ORDERED SECTION DFHRMUWH NOT FOUND IN MODULE may also be issued.
  This is because DFHRMUWH was defined incorrectly causing the
  PTF to be built so that the code shipped for ++MOD DFHRMUWH
  contained the MODHEAD DFHRMUW3.

  Additional Symptoms:  Abend 0C4 reported in DFHSIP, occurring
    in DFHKERER trying to write kernel error information for an
    abend 0C1.  The 0C1 is due to an unresolved address for
    DFHRMUWH from DFHRMUO at offset 3338.  The problem occurs
    because UK03947 was applied and it did not resolve the
    DFHRMUWH address.  You should have received an error when
    you tried to apply UK03947 like:  IEW2456E SYMBOL DFHRMUWH
    UNRESOLVED.  The dump shows that UK03947 is applied.  If
    CICS was in Syncpoint processing at the time and program
    checked in DFHRMUO then program checked again, CICS will
    terminate.  In one scenario, the customer canceled an AOR
    and the associated TOR came down with the 0C1 and 0C4.  The
    unresolved reference for DFHRMUWH leads to R2=40404040 in
    DFHRMUO and a CDS (Compare Double Swap) program checks.
    The loader shows UK03947 is applied.  The last 2 trace
    entries have a RET address into DFHRMSLW.

Problem conclusion

• UK03947
  The SPA definition SMPSW#1 for DFHRMUWH has been changed to Y
  ( Ship text ) and DFHRMUWH has been reshipped.
