    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This PTF provides cumulative service *
    * for a number of CICS Integrator Adapter *
    *                      for z/OS modules.                       *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    If an SFM (Service Flow Modeler) generated navigator
    encounters an "unwired exception" condition it terminates the
    sequence flow early. This causes LINK3270 Navigator Main
    (DFHMALNM) to set NSC-ODC-LENGTH to 32760 and Navigator Manager
    (DFHMAMGR) to set ADC-ODC-LENGTH to 32760. An S0C4 protection
    is generated when the DPL stub program (DFHMADPL) moves the
    output container, at fixed size of 32760, to a small commarea
    provided by the requester.
    Additionally, in LINK3270 Vector Processor (DFHMAVCP), CICS
    Integrator Adapter for z/OS message CIA07014E displays an
    invalid TRANSID when an application issues a RETURN without
    setting the next TRANSID in the middle of a sequence flow.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHMADPL has been changed to limit the amount of data moved from
    the output data container to be no greater than the length of
    the passed commarea.
    DFHMAVCP has been changed to display the correct (blank) transid
    for the error message CIA07014E when an application issues a
    RETURN without setting the next transid in the middle of a
    sequence flow.
