When installing a pipeline definition using CEDA, program
DFHPIPL scans the pipeline configuration file (an HFS file
named in the definition) to find the <handler> elements
within the file. Having found a <handler> element, DFHPIPL
looks for a <handler_parameter_list> element within it and
then parses out any data within the parameter list.
If data is present it getmains an area of storage (with the
comment 'PISNEDA') and moves the data into this, in order to
chain it off the service node control block, DFHPISNE.
However, it incorrectly uses an MVC instruction when
storing the data, which results in truncation of data longer
    than 256 bytes.
    Additional keywords: DFH-HANDLERPLIST container

Problem conclusion

  • DFHPIPL has been altered to use an MVCL instruction when storing
    handler_parameter_list data into PISNEDA storage.
