Local fix
increase the cisize that DFHTEMP uses or delete the DFxxxxxx record from tempstorage.
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Message DFHTS1315 with DFHTEMP full * * containing the FROM data (DFxxxxxx) * * from routed EXEC CICS START TERMID() * * commands. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** A routed EXEC CICS START TRANSID() TERMID() FROM() command using the Enhanced Method (ROUTABLE=YES on transaction definition) stores the FROM data in Temporary Storage in a queue starting "DFxxxxxx". In the TOR region this queue is deleted as part of DFHALRC's PERFORM_PREPARE processing at syncpoint time. Likewise, the queue is deleted in the AOR region when the application issues the EXEC CICS RETRIEVE command. However if any intermediary regions exist between the TOR and AOR (TOR -> Region 2 -> Region 3 -> AOR) then the Bind Phase (DFHMRXM (MRO) or DFH62XM (APPC)) in these regions will issue the TS PUT and Transformer_1 in DFHXTP will issue the TS GET to pass the data onto the next region, but there is no delete of this queue in these regions. This results in a gradual increase in the use of Temporary Storage and may result in the Auxiliary Temporary Storage file DFHTEMP becoming full and issuing message DFHTS1315. Additional keywords msgDFHTS1315 TS1315 TCTTE_START_DATA_ID SOS XFORM1
Problem conclusion
DFHXTP has been amended so that a TS GET with the RELEASE option is issued when the PRIMARY_CLIENT_TYPE is not START_TERMINAL, i.e. not the TOR.
