Error description

  • CSATODP is a little bit behind the time. For instance, at
say 12:12:03.1, CSATODP might be 12:12:01.8.
This is also true for the TIMEOFDAY returned on a DFHSAIQX
INQUIRE_SYSTEM XPI call. You can see this on the following
    trace entry:
    SAIQ EXIT - FUNCTION(INQUIRE_SYSTEM) RESPONSE(OK)
                  TIMEOFDAY(1843271F)
    TASK-TCP KE_NUM-001D TCB-QR /008CB848 RET-93A000DA
                  TIME-18:43:28.2
    -----------------------
The problem happens in DFHDSCSA where 3 different CSA clock
fields are updated each time a task is dispatched. CSATODTU is
properly updated with the new current time. But then CSACTODB
is updated with the old CSATODTU. And then CSATODP is updated
    with the old old CSACTODB.

    ****************************************************************
In the reported problem, a user exit driven at XZCOUT1 performed
an DFHSAIQX INQUIRE_SYSTEM XPI call and requested the TIMEOFDAY
parameter to be returned. This parameter was traced and it was
noticed that its value was earlier than the system timestamp.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHDSCSA has been modified and will now compute the relevant
     CSA fields correctly.
