    ****************************************************************
The sockets listener task ( CSOL ) attaches a CICS web receiver
task ( CWXN ) in response to a new connection from an HTTP
client. CWXN runs immediately and encounters an error as the
client has closed the connection. CWXN terminates and
dissociates itself from the CICS socket object before CSOL
relinquishes its reserve on the socket. When CSOL relinquishes
its reserve, there are no other CICS tasks referencing the
    socket.
As no socket receive is in progress the doclose flag is set
indicating that the client socket should be closed.
    .
The doclose flag causes CSOL to assume that there is a basic
problem with the TCPIPSERVICE environment so it then closes
the TCPIPSERVICE. This action is inappropriate in these
    circumstances.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHSOLS has been changed so that it no longer attempts to close
the TCPIPSERVICE just because it has been told to close a
    newly connected client socket.
