Error description

  • You are using CICS transaction CADP. On the LIST DEBUGGING
PROFILES panel you tab to a particular profile and press the
PF4 = VIEW key to view the profile. On return from the view
the cursor is returned to the first entry in the list. The
cursor position should be left at the last viewed entry.
This also occurs with the PF10 = EDIT function.

A user invoked CICS supplied transaction CADP (CICS Application
Debugging Profile Manager). This displayed a list of profiles.
The user toggled the cursor down to a profile of interest and
pressed PF4 to view it. PF12 was then pressed which returned the
user to the list of profiles which was duly displayed. However,
the cursor was now against the first profile in the list, not
the profile that had been selected. A similar condition occurs
    for EDIT against a profile.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHDPLU will now remember the cursor position in the profile
list on return from a view or edit unless a create or replace
had been performed from the edit.
