    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If a START request fails DFHEIIC may *
    * not free EIIC TEMP storage until task *
    *                      end.                                    *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    If a START request with DATA fails before an attempt is made to
    attach the task, DFHEIIC does not free the task related storage,
    'EIIC TEMP', which it GETMAINed. If repeated invalid START
    requests are made from a long-running task, this can cause
    storage problems.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHEIIC has been altered to free any EIIC TEMP storage which
    it has acquired for a failed START request.
