    ****************************************************************
If a COBOL copybook has been translated at a CICS release
earlier than CICS TS for z/OS version 2.2, with COBOL2 and
DBCS options, it may reference variables DFHSO and DFHSI. If
this copybook is then copied into a program which is translated
at CICS TS for z/OS 2.2 or higher and then compiled, the
    compilation will fail with:
"IGYPS2121-S "DFHSO" was not defined as a data-name. The
    statement was discarded."
The same message will appear for DFHSI.

    Additional Keywords: MSGIGYPS2121-S MSGIGYPS2121 IGYPS2121
                         DFHEIMTD

Problem conclusion

  • DFHEXMTD has been altered to generate the variables DFHSO
and DFHSI when the COBOL2 and DBCS options are specified.
