  • MSGDFH7263I DFH7263I DFH7263 appears when the customer codes
    'PROCEDURE DIVISION USING dbcs-charactor' .
    Because ' dfheiblk dfhcommarea' is inserted like:

    When a DBCS parameter name was used in the PROCEDURE
    DIVISION header of a COBOL program, and attempted to be
    translated and compiled, message DFH7263 was incorrectly
    issued and the compilation failed.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHEIM05 has been amended to reset the current
    buffer pointers (SA and EA) after the buffer has been
    cleared. DFHEIM11 has been amended to restore these buffer
    pointers in the case when a search has returned no match.
