You migrate to CICS transaction server 3.1, from TS 2.2. Your WEB 3270 Bridge transactions now fail with an ABENDABM0. Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Abend ABM0 using the CICS Web Bridge. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Using the CICS Web 3270 Bridge, a request is sent from a browser using DFHWBTTA or DFHWBTTB. The CICS transaction sends a map to the browser using an HTML template. The transaction then issues a receive map and then modifies a field within the map to be protected and color CYAN. The map is sent to the browser again. When DFHWBBMS builds the output HTML to represent the screen, it fails to insert the correct HTML for setting the field to CYAN. This can lead to an Abend ABM0 or simply an incorrect display on the browser. Additional Keywords: DFHTURQ TURQUOISE
Problem conclusion
DFHWBBMS has been changed in routine wbbms_build_ads_color to insert the correct HTML when the field is to have the CYAN attribute.
