Error description

  • When running a conversational transaction under a bridge
facility, when the SUSPEND function is invoked within CICS
The SUSPEND interval should be less than the GETWAITINTERVALand
RTIMOUT. The suspend function generates a larger value than the
RTIMOUT hence the tran can rtimout on a SUSPEND request under
the bridge facility.

A conversational 3270 transaction has been started by the
LINK3270 bridge. GETWAITINTERVAL has been allowed to default
to 70 minutes, and the transaction has a RTIMOUT value of 2
minutes (120 seconds).
When there is no input the transaction should time out after 2
minutes, but instead it is being purged after 120 milliseconds.
