Error description

• You perform a CEMT I PROG(PROG*) and receive the following:

  The program(PROG1) is on hold from an EXEC CICS LOAD HOLD.
  .
  If you accidentally blanked out the runtime (Nat) you'll get an
  AEXZ when you hit ENTER.  If you try to type it back in, you'll
  get another AEXZ abend.
  .
  If the PROGRAM is not loaded HOLD and perform the same accident,
  you will NOT get the AEXZ abend.

  If CEMT INQUIRE PROG() is used to display a program which is
  loaded with HOLD, and the RUNTIME value is overtyped with
  blanks or another value, CEMT will abend AEXZ. The same is
  true if CECI SET PROGRAM JVM or NOJVM is executed for a HOLD
  program, and for EXEC CICS SET PROGRAM() JVM / NOJVM.
  RUNTIME cannot be changed for a HOLD program, as doing so
  requires a refresh of the program. CEMT and CECI should not
  abend in this case however, but should return a 'NOT FOR HOLD
  PROG' message for CEMT and INVREQ / EIBRESP2 = 6 for CECI
  and EXEC CICS SET PROGRAM requests.

Problem conclusion

• DFHEIQSP and DFHPGIS have been altered to ensure that the
  correct response is returned when attempting to set RUNTIME
  for a HOLD program.
