    handler to thier requester pipeline. Now when the DTIMEOUT value
    is hit for the INVOKE WEBSERVICE the customer noticed the
    RESP=INVREQ, RESP2=6 (Soap fault) is returned to the application

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    An EXEC CICS INVOKE WEBSERVICE is executed which will utilize a
    requester pipeline containing transport handlers. At some point
    in the processing of a transport handler an error occurs.
    During the handling of this error, further problems may be
    encountered, and the error codes for these problems replace
    the original codes.
    The response data now returned to the application is incorrect
    as it does not report the original failure.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHPIISC has been altered to ensure response and reason codes
    for the first failure of a transport handler are returned to
    the calling application.
