APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When doing an INQUIRE PROGRAM for a program that has just had a
PHASEIN performed, the LOADPOINT and ENTRYPOINT values returned
may be a null pointer (x'FF000000') if a new copy has not been
loaded yet. Also, the length of the program will be that of the
program not yet loaded, which may be different to the size of
    the one still in core.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A program PHASEIN causes the LOADPOINT *
    * to be set to a null pointer, and the *
    * LENGTH may be incorrect. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
CEMT INQUIRE PROGRAM may return an inaccurate LENGTH and null
LOADPOINT after PHASEIN even though there is still an active
    program.
    Keywords: entry point

Problem conclusion

  • DFHLDLD and DFHLDLD3 have been changed so that after a PHASEIN
an INQUIRE PROGRAM will correctly reflect the state of the most
    recently loaded active program.
