    ****************************************************************
A CICS terminal user has a timeout value set in an External
Security Manager, because of this timeout value CICS
transaction CESC will be initiated to timeout the terminal.
This problem may occur if the TCA contains residual data in
field TCAICITK (ice_channel_token). In this case when CESC
is initiated, DFHICXM will try and issue a BIND_CHANNEL for
a non-existent channel, thus leading to the severe error.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHSNSC has been amended to ensure the ice channel token
does not contain residual data before the initiate request.
