Comments

  • CICS has been changed to return the Process ID as the JVM
number for EXEC CICS INQUIRE JVM and CEMT INQUIRE JVM.

The CICS Transaction Server for z/OS System Programming
Reference, Version 3 Release 1 (SC34-6435-05) will be updated
    as follows:

In Chapter 2 (System Commands), the documentation for
INQUIRE JVM will be updated: The following will be added to
the description for the 'JVM' parameter:

The JVM token used in CICS is the same number that is used
to identify the JVM in the z/OS UNIX environment, where it is
known as the process id (PID) for the JVM.

The CICS Transaction Server for z/OS CICS Supplied Transactions,
Version 3 Release 1 (SC34-6432-03) will be updated as follows:

In Chapter 14 (CEMT) - in the documentation for the CEMT INQUIRE
JVM command, the following has been added to the description for
    the JVM '(value)' parameter:

The JVM token used in CICS is the same number that is used to
identify the JVM in the z/OS UNIX environment, where it is known
as the process id (PID) for the JVM.

In the CICS Data Areas manual for CICS TS Version 3 Release 1
(SRL LY33-6107-01); update the 'SJCON - Java VM Domain Control
    Blocks' section as follows:

At offset x'90' change 'SJA_JVM_INDEX' to '*' and remove the
'Next available JVM index' comment after it.

In the CICS Supplementary Data Areas manual for CICS TS
Version 3 Release 1 (SRL: LY33-6108-01); update the 'SJTCB -
SJ Open TCB Related Data' section as follows:

Immediately after offset x'510' (SJTCB_MAX_RESETS) add:

    (514) FULLWORD 4 SJTCB_JVM_PID JVM Process ID
