Error description

  • WebSphere MQ ships sample CSQCAPX in source form only. CICS TS
3.2 ships CSQCAPX in source form in SDFHSAMP and a load module
in SDFHLOAD. Customers who are using an API crossing exit are
forced to add a library infront of SDFHLOAD in the DFHRPL
    concatenation.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: CICS TS 3.2 ships CSQCAPX in SDFHLOAD. *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
CICS TS 3.2 ships both a source form of the CICS-MQ sample API
crossing exit CSQCAPX in SDFHSAMP and a compiled load module
form in SDFHLOAD. This differs from WebSphere MQ which ships the
sample in source form only. Shipping a load module in SDFHLOAD
forces users who use CSQCAPX and have altered the sample to
place their copy of CSQCAPX in a library ahead of SDFHLOAD in
    the CICS DFHRPL concatenation.

Problem conclusion

  • CSQCAPX load module is removed from SDFHLOAD.
DFHUMOD and DFJUMOD have been altered to delete the ++MOVE
    statements for CSQCAPX.
This is the fix completion for APAR PK48183.
