PK54019: PE29208 ASRA IN CPRL AT OFFSET ???????? AFTER UK29208 07/10/04 PTF PECHANGE

Error description

• PE29208-0709
  After installing UK29208 an abend ASRA in CPRL may occur if the
  CMAS needs to be isolated. The abend will occur after message:
  .
  EYUCP0033I Disconnect requested for CMAS applid. Reason CMAS
  isolated.
  .
  The symptoms of the abend will vary depending on the RENTPGM
  SIT option in use.
  .
  If RENTPGM=PROTECT:
  .
     Message DFHSR0622 'An attempt to overwrite the ERDSA
     has caused the abend which follows' will be issued and
     the offset for the CPRL ASRA will be 0000069E.
  .
     The CMAS will not be isolated.
  .
  If RENTPGM=NOPROTECT:
  .
     The offset for the CPRL ASRA will be ????????.
  .
     The ASRA will repeat for different methods at the same
     offset and PSW until the CMAS is cancelled.
  

Local fix

• Correct the cause of the synchronisation error or remove UK29208

  *                       The ASRA will be due to an 0C4.        *
  *                       The CPRL offset reported in message    *
  *                       EYUXL0905E will be 0000069E.           *
  *                                                              *
  *                       After the abend, the CMAS will not     *
  *                       be isolated.                           *
  *                                                              *
  *                      If RENTPGM=NOPROTECT:                   *
  *                                                              *
  *                       The ASRA will be due to an 0C1.        *
  *                       The CPRL offset reported in message    *
  *                       EYUXL0905E will be ????????.           *
  *                                                              *
  *                       After the abend, all other methods     *
  *                       in the CMAS will abend ASRA at offset  *
  *                       ????????.                              *
  *                                                              *
  *                       The PSW reported in these abends will  *
  *                       be the same. It will be the entry      *
  *                       point address of EYU9XLMC.             *
  *                                                              *
  *                       The abends will continue until the     *
  *                       CMAS is cancelled.                     *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this    *
  *                 APAR, all CMASes must be recycled to pick    *
  *                 up the new code.  Note that the restarts do  *
  *                 not need to be done at the same time.        *
  ****************************************************************
  EYU0CPRL (CPRL - Connection Services Remove Link) was updated
  by PK51596/UK29208 to issue new message EYUCP0033I.
  
  To issue the message, CPRL makes a call to the CICSPlex SM
  message service (EYU0XMSM). This call uses the standard
  CICSPlex SM method protocols, which causes R15 to be set to
  the entry point address of the CICSPlex SM Kernel Linkage
  routine, EYU9XLMC.
  
  After the message is issued, CPRL uses R15 to build a
  Communication Services Request Block. As R15 contains the
  entry point address of EYU9XLMC instead of the address of a
  Communications Services Request Block, CPRL will attempt to
  overlay EYU9XLMC.
  
  Depending on the RENTPGM SIT option in use, the reported
  abends will occur.
  

Problem conclusion

• EYU0CPRL has been updated so that the message is issued when
  R15 is not being used to address the Communication Services
  Request Block.
