Error description
If the WUI is used to change the GMMTEXT Good Morning Message Text for a region, it gets padded with blanks x'40' to the maximum size of the GMMTEXT parameter, regardless of how long the string was that the user entered. This causes rest of the text (the timestamp from CICS) to be much farther down the screen than it should be.

In NSCR, trailing low-values (X'00') are stripped to determine the real string length, but not trailing blanks, so the GMMTEXT attribute is always padded to 246 bytes.
Problem conclusion
Module EYU0NSCR was modified to strip trailing blanks from the passed Good Morning message text string.

You use CPSM to change the GMMTEXT Good Morning Message text for a region. The text which CSGM writes to the dis- play screen is padded with blanks to the maximum size of the GMMTEXT attri- bute, regardless of how long the string was that the user entered. This causes the rest of the Good Morning text (the timestamp from CICS) to be much farther down the screen than it should be. The provided Good Morning Message text is passed to module EYU0NSCR (NSCR - Set CICS System Attributes) padded to 246 bytes with blanks (X'40').
