    ****************************************************************
If a pipeline is disabled and then discarded before recycling
CICS with an auto start, the pipeline is reinstalled by CICS at
start time. This is because the discard is not reflected in the
catalog as there is no call to delete the entry on discard. This
results in the pipeline being installed disabled as that is the
status at the last catalog update for the pipeline.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHPIPL has been changed to delete the pipeline from the catalog
    on a successful discard.
