Error description

  • You logon to your WUI server CICS region and use transaction
    COVC to import views from a dataset.  For example, you specify
    the following as your input:
    .
       Input data set name  : hlq.SEYUVIEW
       Input data set member: EYUE*
    .
    One of the members beginning with 'EYUE*' happens to be an empty
    member.  Instead of issuing "EYUVS0917E Import operation failed"
    on the screen, you get message EYUVS0932E.

    Additional Symptom(s) Search Keyword(s):
      EYUVS1059E Import failed at record number 0 when the end of
    data set unexpectedly encountered.

    * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the fix for this APAR, all    *
    *                 MASes which act as a Web User Interface      *
    *                 (WUI) Server must be recycled to pick up the *
    *                 changed code.  Note that all WUI servers do  *
    *                 not have to be restarted at the same time.   *

    You logon to your WUI server CICS region and use transaction
    COVC to import a member from a dataset.  For example, you
    specify the following as your input:
    .
       Input data set name  : hlq.SEYUVIEW
       Input data set member: EYUE*
    .
    EYU0VVIC takes the import object out of the TS Queue and
    prepares it for import.  A response of ITEMERR from the EXEC
    CICS READQ TS call causes EYU0VVIC to set the wrong return code,
    resulting in the EYUVS0932E error message.  Examination of the
    CPSM auxiliary trace data set may reveal one or more of the
    following EXCPs from VVIC:

Problem conclusion
