• CICSPlex SM 3.2 compatibility with CICSPlex SM 4.1

  Toleration changes are required to CICSPlex SM 3.2
  to allow CICSPlex SM 3.2 and CICSPlex SM 4.1 to
  exist within the same CICSPlex SM network.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When a CICSPlex SM V4R1M0 CMAS is part  *
  *                      of a mixed CICSPlex SM release network  *
  *                      attempts to use the CICSPlex SM V4R1M0  *
  *                      WLMATARG object will result in an       *
  *                      API response of ENVIRONERROR (1030) and *
  *                      an API reason of REQTIMEOUT (1342).     *
  *                                                              *
  *                      Examination of the pre-CICSPlex SM      *
  *                      V4R1M0 CMAS joblog will show that an    *
  *                      ASRA (ABENDS0C4) has occurred around    *
  *                      offset 03BE in method XLML.             *

  * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this    *
  *                 APAR, all CMASes must be recycled to pick    *
  *                 up the new code.  Note that the restarts     *
  *                 do not need to be done at the same time.     *

  Requests for the CICSPlex SM V4R1M0 object WLMATARG, may cause
  the V4R1M0 CMAS to send requests for methods EYU0WABA and
  EYU0WASA to pre-V4R1M0 CMASes.
  
  As the non-V4R1M0 CMASes do not have support for these methods
  an ASRA occurs in EYU0XLML as it is attempting to process a
  Method Argument List (MAL) that is not recognized.
  

Problem conclusion

• Toleration support has been added for EYU0WABA and EYU0WASA.
  Note that these methods will never return WLMATARG information
  for a pre-V4R1M0 CMAS.
